About Kristen

Performance begins in the body.

Kristen Anderson is a performance coach, educator, and endurance athlete whose work sits at the intersection of sport, nervous system regulation, and human connection.

She is the creator of Body Intelligence™, a neuroscience-informed framework that helps athletes, leaders, and individuals train their nervous systems for performance—developing the awareness and regulation required to maintain focus under fatigue, respond to pressure, and sustain long-term resilience.

Kristen holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Behaviour and certifications in Brain-Based Coaching (ICF/Neuro Leadership Institute), Adult Education, ACT, Mindfulness, Sport Psychology, and Sex Education.

She’s the Official Mental Strength Ambassador for the RBC GranFondo, where she contributes mental performance resources that support thousands of cyclists preparing for the iconic Ride to Whistler. She also serves as a Board Director with Cycling British Columbia, contributing to governance, ethics, and the advancement of healthy sport.

A lifelong endurance athlete and Boston Marathon finisher, Kristen combines lived experience in sport with evidence-based training in neuroscience-informed coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and performance psychology. Her work also integrates training in sexual health education and relational coaching, reflecting her belief that human performance is not just physical—it is neurological, emotional, and relational.

Her work with female athletes and leaders has also inspired the creation of Aretē, a women’s sport and social club rooted in the pursuit of excellence in sport, health, leadership, and life.

At the centre of Kristen’s philosophy is a simple belief:

Regulated nervous systems perform well under pressure.
